You know, when you've lived in a place for so long, you often begin to take it for granted. You start to forget why you've fallen in love with it in the first place. Yet, all it takes is just a simple breather, a step back, and a careful eye and you'll see again what you thought lost.

I would like to introduce you to a special friend of mine. Her name is Fatima Al Sabah, but we all call her 2T (pronounced tootie).

One thing that you may notice immediately after meeting her for the first time is her warm and bubbly personality. She is, literally, a fantastic person to hang out with.

Positively oriented and constantly entranced by her surroundings, 2T began to capture her environment in stunning photos. What started out as a humble project has now matured into an amazing feat. Posting daily for the past 200 days, 2T has invited us to sneak a peak into the keyhole through which she sees our world; and may I say, it is quite a refreshing point of view. She plans to keep this up for another 165 days to effectively complete a year's worth of photos. I for one am looking forward to the rest of these pictures.

It is impressive what young and driven talent can bring to the old and worn. Even more outstanding is their ability to maintain hope through the most dire of situations showering in optimism and love on those within their midst. They give us untainted eyes and passionately eloquent voices with which new dialog is invoked. Tomorrow's promise is their sword and hope is their beacon. Listen to their call. Witness their strife. It is not through violence that they try to achieve alternate futures, but through their creative instincts and love for peace.

The Palestinian Theater Group from Montreal offers you a chance to experience this wave of promise.
