Every year it comes and it goes and every year I get all exited like a little school girl who just got a pony for her B-day!
Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, the Jordan Rally is upon us once again.
As the forth stage in the World Rally Championship (WRC), the only one located in the Middle-East, and the third stage of the Middle-East Rally Champion (MERC), the Jordan Rally offers its participants a chance to challenge their skills on its hard and highly technical all gravel tracks all the while attracting drivers the world over such as France's Sebastien Ogier (a returning participant and last year's WRC Jordan Rally winner).
Moreover, it is a great chance for the country to expose its local driving talent on the global stage, granting opportunities for domestic racers, such as the current Jordanian Champ Mazen Tantash, to compete for pole position and give the international drivers a run for their money.
It is an amazing event that has garnered much support over the past few years and promotes the country's diversity and love for sport. And what a great few days it will be!
For more info check out their official website at www.jordanrally.com
As for now, I'll leave you now with an interview done by a Jordanian Radio Station with Mazen Tantash, the current Jordanian Champ. Enjoy!
