What started off as a little experiment in someone's garage is now a ravaging phenomenon taking the music world by storm. Dubstep (Db) is a form of electronic music that incorporates various aspects from drum and bass to breakbeats all the while keeping them in a 2 step beat. The result is Dance Music's (DM) older, darker, and much more mature brother. And given that DM has been whoring itself out to every passerby, it's time that Db comes and whips everything back into place. Also, it has led to the development of a quite breathtaking dance style that just amazes you as you watch how several individuals are inspired to move by Db.

Mad respect for Stromae. I think that he is the next best thing to have come out of France after Daft Punk and cheese. He's like the Dance version of Eminem with a French twist. And speaking of Dance, I find that it has come a long way from the meaningless thump that it once was, finding many a way to express its newly found feelings as it continues to mature.
