What do you get when you cross a bull and a 700 bhp V12 engine? The Lamborghini LP700-4 of course.
Lambo's new flagship ride is bound to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor, for which I now am beginning to regret not being able attend. Not much has been known about the car, and the spy shots, although gratuitous, only show the general form of the vehicle without giving its subtle design lines away. Nonetheless, we can see clear indicators of design cues passed over from two breathtaking previous models, the first being the Lamborghini Reventon, and namely for the shape of the LP700-4's front bumper, lights, and rear spoiler, while the second comes from the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept, unvieled last november, which heavily influenced the LP700-4's sides with the huge air intakes placed towards the mid-rear of the car.
All in all, this car aims to be a Ferrari 458 contender, whom mind you just won the Robb Report car of the year award. While they may both share differences when it comes to engine size and horsepower, I believe that it'll all come down to the driving experience that they each deliver.
All I can do right now to make do with this confusion is to hope that both Lamborghini and Ferrari notice this post and invite me over to Italy to test drive their babies for them.
Enjoy!
